Cyber Intelligence Analyst

Please note- this is not an engineering or IT role. Ideal candidates will have a strategic understanding of critical cybersecurity issues, ideally from a military/law enforcement/intelligence perspective. All candidates must have strong writing skills and will be asked to provide a writing sample using structured analytic techniques.

RANE’s Analysts are responsible for conducting independent research and analysis, writing content for distribution to RANE’s various publications, platforms, and other client-facing channels. Analysts are also responsible for addressing inbound client inquiries and proactively engaging with clients on their area of topical focus. This role will be focused on Cyber and Information, an area of growing importance to our client base. There will be significant intersection and collaboration with RANE's Geopolitical and Global Security Analyst teams.

The ideal analyst will have experience producing written analysis addressing critical topics related to cyber security/information security and will be able to translate complex and fast-moving information into actionable insight for a diverse business audience, which includes cybersecurity, compliance, threat intelligence, legal, and physical security professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Writing research-based content for RANE’s proprietary content pieces, focusing on cybersecurity incidents, threats, threat-actors, trends, techniques, and emerging technologies
  • Contributing to data analysis and production output based on access to various proprietary, open source, and third-party provided datasets
  • Contributing to the development of RANE’s cybersecurity vertical, including ideation and creation of new products/ deliverables, providing input into corporate strategy, and working with the sales organization to identify/support related commercial opportunities
  • Conducting RANE Expert interviews for unique perspectives to incorporate into proprietary content pieces or in response to specific client inquiries

Expert Network Manager

RANE is hiring an Expert Network Manager to join our growing team.  Expert Network Managers are responsible for supporting, growing, and maintaining RANE’s extensive Expert Network - a large community that connects various risk professionals and experts with RANE customers.  Expert Network Managers are accountable for proactively reaching out to risk professionals, interviewing them to gather key risk insights, and organizing and databasing this information in RANE’s proprietary tools and client facing platform. This contains industry analytics that clients find necessary to make informed business decisions.

This team also helps facilitate and act as a liaison between our clients and experts for all referral-based engagements.  In addition, Expert Network Managers assist the Analyst Team with expert identification and coordination for RANE proprietary content.

Latin America Analyst

As a member of RANE's core team of analysts, you will be responsible for developing high- quality and forward-looking analysis with a particular focus on the Latin America region, monitoring and analyzing economic, financial, security and political data. Analysts are responsible for ensuring that a broad range of clients are well served by proactively identifying geopolitical trends while conducting deeper research on key topics including but not limited to macroeconomic, energy, technology and trade dynamics. Analysts play a critical role in the forecasting process and production of Key Forecast Questions. Analysts also have direct engagement with clients supporting inbound geopolitical inquiries while providing briefings.


LatAm Analysts also have the opportunity to partner with colleagues across the broader RANE organization and gain exposure to a range of industries and risk topics, including cyber and information; physical safety and security; and legal, regulatory, and compliance.

Product Platform Manager

RANE - Platform Manager

RANE (Risk Assistance Network + Exchange) is a risk intelligence company. We provide  actionable threat intelligence on geopolitical, physical safety/security, cybersecurity and legal/regulatory/compliance risks via information, screening and analytical tools, and expert support to help respond, manage, and mitigate risk.

RANE is looking for a proactive, hands-on technology-oriented Product Manager to own and drive our underlying product platform. The Product Manager, Common Platform is a high profile position. This person will be responsible for all the underlying specification, delivery and management of all components of RANE’s technology platform which will drive all of our products. He/she/they will coordinate and work closely with each of the customer proposition managers who are responsible for their respective customer-facing products which help identify and address geopolitical, physical safety and security, cybersecurity and legal/regulatory/compliance risks. The role involves frequent contact and close collaboration across other key stakeholders such as software development, product design, data operations, and customer support.

You will work on next-generation multi-cloud platform capabilities including data, streaming, search, and machine learning. You will use your understanding of the data platforms, analytics and big data ecosystem to synthesize ideas that improve the sourcing, ingestion, storage, retrieval, dissemination, analysis and visualization of the various customer facing offerings.

The role will be a technical product manager role. You will ideally have managed technology infrastructure delivery - perhaps with software development experience or technical project management, but have now progressed into product management. You should be well versed in incorporating the latest SaaS technologies, perhaps at other enterprise information services companies. Very importantly, you should not be afraid to get into the detail of tech specs, troubleshooting, and be highly proactive and responsive since this is not just a “thinker” role, it is a heavily “doer” focused  role.

Responsibilities:
As with any fast-growing company, day-to-day responsibilities will span the entire product management lifecycle and include deep interaction with customer-facing staff, product managers and engineering.
• Own the "whole" platform experience
• Engage with product managers to, develop insights into what is possible, and uncover unarticulated customer needs to drive customer success
• Build product roadmap based on customers needs, market and technology trends
• Define product specs, user stories, mockups and acceptance criteria in collaboration with engineering or independently
• Collaborate with development and other product teams to plan, drive and execute product releases cycles.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Product Manager building data platform/services/products focused on large scale data and analytics processing, visualization with high availability, performance and scalability

Job Responsibilities Include:

- Managing an existing book of business comprised primarily of information products /subscriptions and advisory services for a wide range of clientele in a varietyof industry verticals.

- Developing relationships with key stakeholders across those client accounts in order to maintain high renewal rates and to pursue expansion opportunities where applicable (upsell/cross-sell).
